Family Faith Formation at Lifelong Training
The urgency to reimagine faith formation was accelerated in recent years by the global pandemic. We know now more than ever parents matter most. To have a lasting impact on the spiritual and faith formation of children, we must partner with parents. These presentations offer a vision of family faith formation and guiding principles for that ministry, supported by research. The presentation reviews six practical strategies to employ, as you design a family faith formation approach in your church community. Each is illustrated with examples from other church communities already engaged in family faith formation - offering inspiration and encouragement to you as you begin to design a transformational family ministry. As you watch the three-part video presentation consider: How can you accompany families? How can you affirm parents in their role as spiritual leaders? How can you provide families with the hope they need today?
Watch the free training videos at Lifelong Faith Training. Then watch the clinic videos to see a quick review and leaders' questions in part 1, and a follow-up on leaders' projects in part 2.
Also available for diocesan or regional training events, in person or online.
